”Kenko White Mist No.1” filter lowers contrast of highlighted and shadowy areas and produces a soft vintage touch to images.When shooting in backlight conditions this filter diffuses light, creating a vintage lens like flare effect.

Lowering Contrast

”Kenko White Mist No.1” filter lowers contrast of highlighted and shadowy areas and produces a soft vintage touch to images.

This filter incorporates white diffusing powder, different to the Kenko Black Mist's black diffusing powder, melted inside the glass. This white powder has stronger contrast and saturation suppression qualities over black variants.

In front light conditions, or when there is no strong light source inside the frame, the White Mist No.1 maintains contrast firmly while rendering dark tones gently.
