UV Filter is a lens filter that protects the lens from scratches and dirt and absorbs ultraviolet rays to produce an image similar to that of the human eye.

It has no effect other than the absorption of ultraviolet rays.

Since most camera lenses are very expensive, leave it on the lens to protect it as a lens protector.
